Sunday brunch, you know the score, needed somewhere to go and didn't have much time in the Spitalfields area to explore too far (Brick lane nearby could have been a winner though).

Strictly speaking this is part of a chain so not really allowed but the chain is small and this particular branch is well worth a mention (I hope I get away with it!!).

I opted for the big breakfast which consisted of bacon, sausage, egg, beans, mushrooms, tomato and toast. I included tea and in total it cost me £7.50 - London prices!!

The food was good, nice and fresh and the sausage was way above average for a fry up (which you would expect from an establishment that specialises in sausages and mash).

The place itself was clean and modern but has deliberately been styled to resemble a traditional caff. It works well and is a nice place to eat.

It was very popular but I suspect the location has an equal part to play along with the food.

Next time I'm in 'the smoke' I intend to find somewhere a bit greasier but this is worth a visit if you are in the area and don't have time explore.
